Hello, Albuquerque Moms! My name is Breanna! Albuquerque
I am originally from the Seattle area. I met my husband in college in 2007, and we were married in 2009. Right before we got hitched, we decided the Seattle hustle and bustle wasn’t for us and decided to move to Albuquerque a week after we got married. My husband’s father had recently moved here, so that helped with our decision making process. It is completely different than Seattle and took me about four years to come to terms with the desert climate, no greenery, ocean, or fresh yummy seafood.
My husband landed his dream job as a Solutions Architect at Sandia National Laboratories, and I mostly stay home with our two little nuggets. I like to stay busy, and I am a workaholic. There, I said it. When I am not blowing bubbles, pushing swings, kissing boo-boos, or making chicken nuggets, I am running a few businesses.
I have owned a photography business here in town since 2010, Blooming Images. I specialize in Maternity, Birth and Newborn photography. It is my biggest passion and to call it a job is unreal to me.
I am a strong advocate for Young Living Essential Oils after they have changed, and continue to change, my family’s life. Now, I’ve built a strong team to help educate others and help get oils into every home. I truly believe
people moms are looking for a more natural approach to medicine. I created a website that provides education and resources about essential oils, Bloom-Essentials.
Once I started with Young Living Essential Oils, I realized there weren’t a lot of marketing materials to help educate others about oils and other products, so I started a marketing company where I design business cards, postcards, brochures, etc. for distributors. Education is key!
The newest venture I have taken on is being in charge with the start-up of a wellness center here in town. The Equilibrium Wellness Center is a place where anyone can come and take their wellness to the next level. We have a Chiropractor, Dr. Michael Pridham, Massage Therapy, a Fitness Center, and rooms/spaces available for rent hourly or daily to anyone.
All of these ventures keep me extremely busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have two little girls–Ella, four and Annie, two. Ella is pretty quiet, independent, and keeps to herself. Annie is loud, wants to try to make everyone laugh, and wants to do everything by herself. They are complete opposites.
I feel like one of the most important things about being a mom is who you are walking with during this mom-life journey. The more moms that can come together and offer grace, advice, reality etc, the better. I am excited to be a part of this.
I am excited to write for all of you!
