Best Breakfast Burritos in Albuquerque

0

Before I moved to New Mexico in 2013, I’m not sure if I ever had a burrito for breakfast. How did I make it 22 years without eating a breakfast burrito? Now it’s my go-to breakfast, especially when I can pull into the Golden Pride drive-thru and get my #9 fix.

Best Breakfast Burritos in Albuquerque :: National Burrito Day Round UpWe asked our team to share their favorite breakfast burritos in all of Albuquerque. Here’s what they had to say:

Vanessa: Blake’s #1 with green is LIFE. Yes and amen. I love the crispy bacon, spicy chile, real cracked eggs (not powder mix), and soft tortillas. Oh yeah, and my Blake’s has a drive-thru!

Jess: Okay, so somewhere that might not be well known, but super good, is Mick’s Chile Fix! They have huge burritos and their chile is amazing. Plus it’s family-owned and local!

Alyssa: Blake’s #2. I love the potatoes. It’s great hangover food with extra green chile . . .  not that I’ve had a hangover or anything.

Katie: Our family has three favorites. Golden Pride–amazing tortillas! Blake’s–I get a #1 red, and hubby gets a #2 green. Hello Deli–the Burrito Pronto is consistently good.

Tiffany: Hands down, Burritos Alistante! Huge breakfast burritos with fresh ingredients and less than $5. They’ve got friendly service and are super fast! They also have a drive-thru.

Mandie: Golden Pride #9 easy green.

Colleen: Blake’s #1 all the way!

Brittany: I’m all for Golden Pride and Blake’s, but my pick (which takes me back to my high school self) is Little Anita’s breakfast burrito.

Laura: My husband says Blake’s is his favorite. I think my favorite is Frontier.

Audra: I love the #9 and #11 from Golden Pride. And my kids love the #3! But I’m pretty sure I could save money by just handing them a tortilla and they’d be happy.

Paige: If you are looking for comfort food, Stripes is your place! Plus, they donate 10% to the VA hospital and serve local coffee. They have five locations around town.

Denika: Vic’s Cafe for a sit down burrito, or Golden Pride for fast food.

Rachel: NM Beef Jerky! The Burrito Lady! Tia Betty Blues!

There you have it! The best breakfast burritos in Albuquerque according to the ABQ Mom team. Did your favorite make the list? If not, let us know your favorite burrito spot.
