Yummy Balsamic Roast Slow Cook Recipe

0

I am always looking for easy and good slow cooker recipes.  Aren’t we all?  Who doesn’t love smelling their dinner cooking in a crock pot all day? Today I want to share with you my all time favorite (and pretty much my only) go-to balsamic roast recipe.  I stumbled upon this one from Add a Pinch two years ago and it has been a staple in our house ever since.

Before you see the word roast and run away screaming–just trust me.  This roast is flavorful, tender, and extremely versatile!  You can throw it on a salad, over rice with veggies, scramble it with eggs, throw it in a quesadilla… the list goes on and on.  It also turns out perfect every time, freezes well, and makes great tasting left-overs.

If you are in a recipe rut, this one is definitely worth a try!

Balsamic Roast Recipe:

3-4lb Chuck Roast

1 Cup Beef Broth

1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce

1 Tablespoon Honey

4 Cloves of Garlic (minced)

Place roast in slow cooker and sprinkle with salt and pepper

Mix the remainder of the ingredients in a liquid measuring cup then pour over the roast.

Cook on low for eight hours  (I have had the best luck cooking it for the FULL eight hours even if it looks done before then.)

Enjoy!

If you try this recipe, I would love to hear how you like it.  Man, and if anyone out there has a go-to slow cooker recipe, please share!
