Dancing With the Stars: LIVE! Light Up the Night

3/1 @ 7:30 PM Popejoy Hall. Straight from your TV to our City. Watch dances seen on the Dancing With the Stars television show performed live in front of your very eyes. From group numbers to duos to originally choreographed pieces come watch the best ballroom dancers in the country put on a show. All ages are welcome. Tickets can be found here.


30th Annual National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show

3/2-4 Times vary Sandia Casino. The longest fiery foods show in Albuquerque makes its 30th appearance. Come try out every and all things chile. Spicy foods are a staple in our great city so come get your Albuquerquean on with the whole family! More info here


Alice in Wonderland Ballet

3/3 & 3/4 Times vary KiMo Theatre. The classic story of Alice’s Adventures put on by the Idaho Ballet. Tickets and times can be found here.  


Kids Rock! Geology Class

3/3 & 24 @10 am Mama’s Minerals. Kids ages 4 & up are invited for a FREE class to learn all about fossils, stones, crystals, and minerals. Visit the Mama’s Minerals website here


 Albuquerque Concert Band with special guests, The Baylor Wind Ensemble

3/4 @ 3pm Eldorado High School PAC. Go and check out our city’s Concert Band with the addition of the sweet sounds of the Baylor Wind Ensemble from Waco, TX. Learn more about the Albuquerque Concert Band here. 


Albuquerque Restaurant Week 

3/4-11 various times and locations. Back for its 9th year, Albuquerque Restaurant Week is a week celebrating some of our cities finest restaurants. Three course meals are being offered anywhere from $15-$45 a person depending on the location. For list of all restaurants check here


Club Read presented by Dion’s and Albuquerque Isotopes

3/5-7/20 Dion’s and the Albuquerque Isotopes are teaming up to promote youth literacy for the 15th annual Club Read program. Students can win prizes by completing a scorecard. Scorecards are available at Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe Dion’s locations, select public libraries, and Isotopes Park. For more information about Club Read visit their website here.


30th Annual Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival

March 9-11 Times vary Manual Lujan Building at Expo NM. For the 30th year in a row kick of your Spring by browsing through over 180 artists and craftsmen works of art. Children’s Musical: Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood LIVE!

3/12 @ 6:30 PM Kiva Auditorium. PBS Kids presents Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood live, a Mister Roger’s Neighborhood for a newer audience. To get tickets for this fun performance, visit the website here


The Lantern Fest

NM ShamRock Fest & The All Fun, No Run Zero k 2018

3/17 @ 11am Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. Whether you want to participate in the very short 0k race, the 1k kids fun race, or the 5k run, come enjoy the festivities while reveling in a little Celtic culture. Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest

3/17-18 @ 10am Manuel Lujan Building at Expo NM. Enjoy two of lives sweetest pleasures by indulging yourselves in all things coffee and chocolate. Not a fan of either? Aladdin and the Magic Lamp

3/17-18 times vary Popejoy Hall. The New Mexico Ballet Company joined with the New Mexico Philharmonic come together to present their take on this classic tale. For tickets and info please click here.  


PBR Ty Murray Invitational

3/16-18 times vary Dreamstyle Arena. Bull rider fans unite. One of the best Professional Bull Riding events Albuquerque has to offer is here once again. Bring the family and enjoy some fun! Check the website for more information.


Grand Opening of Pure Barre Albuquerque

3/24 Times vary. Join Pure Barre for their official GRAND OPENING. All classes on 3/24 will be FREE! Space is limited, so reserve your spot now! Paint me a Story with Corduroy

3/24 @ 9:30 am Art Attack. First the children enjoy a fun story, next they will paint an adorable two piece teddy bear box themed to the story. Great for ages 4 and up. $15 includes all materials. Reservations required. For more information and tickets please click here


Teen Skills Bootcamp

3/29-30 time and location TBA. We’ve reached a day and age where common adulthood skills are being learned less and less. This bootcamp was created to teach these skills including financial, home, car, school and job, to today’s teenagers. To learn more about this Bootcamp visit the website here. 

 


Aquarium Overnight

3/16 @ 6:30pm ABQ BioPark Aquarium. Bring your jammies and sleeping bags and come spend the night with the fishies and the sharks at the ABQ BioPark Aquarium. The theme of the month is Marine Mammal Madness. For information on tickets please visit the BioPark website.



Recurring Events

Kids Yoga at Yoga Art Space

Every Tuesday and Sunday. Each Tuesday and Sunday bring your child to get their yogi on at this half hour class. They offer classes for mamas as well! For more information on schedule, pricing, and instructors visit the website here.


Baby Flamenco Classes

Every Saturday through June. Start teaching your baby of the rich cultural roots of New Mexican Flamenco with classes created specifically for ages 3-4. For more information on schedule, pricing, and instructors visit the website here.


Family Art Workshop

Every Saturday through June. Fun and learning for the whole family at our Albuquerque Museum. There will be a different project every week—Class is free with Admission so the family can enjoy learning about our history before or after your art class! More info on the Art Workshops here.


Harmonic Kids Music Together

Recurring event through March. Children 0-5 are invited to take part in this music-making experience! Offered at three different locations and five different times, there’s sure to be something that can fit your schedule! Toddler Time at Explora

Spook Troop Ghost Hunting Tour

Every Weekend @ 6 pm History & Ghost Tours of Old Town. A children friendly ghost hunting outdoor tour. Ages 6-12 JR. Ghost hunters are invited to come take part in this information filled tour. Check it out here
