4/5 @ 5:30-7:30 PM National Hispanic Cultural Center (Domenici Education Center.) Enjoy a great social event or date night with your partner in a 2D mixed media workshop led by Artist Al Na’ir Lara. Al Na’ir Lara has current works on display at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Refreshments, snacks, and beer and wine will be available. Tickets can be found here.
Luke Bryan in Concert
4/6 @ 7 PM Isleta Amphitheater. Back for his rescheduled Huntin’ Fishin’ & Lovin’ Everyday Tour one of country’s hot artists will be taking the stage with fellow country music star Brett Eldridge. Annual Fishing Derby
4/7 @ 6:45 AM Tingley Beach. A free fishing derby the whole family can enjoy. With the Central pond being stocked by NM Game and Fish with over 5,000 rainbow trout, try your skills at catching one of the 200 tagged fish for a prize. All the info on this event can be seen here.
2018 Governors Ball
4/7 @ 5:30-10 PM Sandia Resort and Casino. Enjoy a night out benefitting various children’s charities around New Mexico. The Fire and Ice themed Governors Ball is a black tie event. Fiestas de Albuquerque 2018
4/7 @ 12-5 PM Old Town Plaza. Celebrate our city turning 312 with a day of culture and family fun. Along with live music, food, dancing and more there will also be free children’s activities. Masters of the Spinjitzu Art Attack Class
4/7 @ 9:30 AM Art Attack. Enjoy the “paint me a story” event where children sit down for story time and follow it up by getting creative with a painting inspired by the tale. 4/8 @ 1-3 PM Cherry Hills Library. Mexican-American poet Camila Sanmiguel presents a poetry reading for preteens, teens, and adults alike. Camila’s poetry aims to understand diversity and appeal to human emotions. To take part in this free event check out more info here.
Albuquerque Isotopes Opening Game

Eat Like an Ape
4/14 @ 6-9 PM ABQ BioPark Zoo. Come join the Apes for a five course meal experience that allows you to feast along your favorite primates. Indian School Volunteer Day
4/14 @ 8:30 AM Indian School/Embudo Trailhead. Start off the Spring by giving back to our wonderful city. Bring the family and help with trail maintenance of one of Sandia Mountain’s greatest trails. Earth Fest 2018
4/22 @ 10 AM- 4 PM La Montañita Co-op. Come join in on one of Albuquerque’s biggest Earth Day celebrations. Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles
4/23 @ 7:30 PM Popejoy Hall. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the release of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band go back in time to experience one of the world’s most legendary bands.
