I’m excited to tell you that as a busy mom in Albuquerque, you are now able to grocery shop online with Smith’s ClickList, while still in your pajamas. First, though, I’d like to give you one example of why you should do your shopping online.

ClickList | Albuquerque Moms Blog

One rainy day last week, I took my 1-year-old and 3-year-old to pick up a few items at the store. This visit should have taken us 30 minutes or less, with only a handful of items on our list. As soon as we pulled up to the store, my 3-year-old announced that she had to go potty. I quickly unbuckled and assembled our stroller so I’d have somewhere to contain my 1-year-old in the restroom. I buckled the baby into the stroller. Then we ran through the rain to get to the potty quick. Then I shoved the stroller into the tight space and helped my oldest into the stall, where she did her business. We washed our hands and awkwardly pushed the stroller back out of the bathroom.

About 10 minutes after we left the bathroom, my oldest announced again that she needed the potty. We had made it to the opposite corner of the store and had accumulated a few items at this point. But we rushed back to the restroom. I emptied the basket onto a random shelf, and hoped our groceries would still be there. We went into the bathroom, again, and I situated my daughter on the toilet. She told me that her poopies were shy, and she couldn’t go.

I knew that if she didn’t go now, we’d just end up back in a matter of minutes, or worse, she’d have an accident in her pants, so I did something I’m not proud of but would do it again in a heartbeat. I bribed her. It took another 10 minutes of coercing and the promise of a cake pop, but she did go potty, hooray! albuquerque moms blog Smith's online grocery order ClickList

We then waited for her to eat her cake pop before continuing with our list, because have you ever seen a 3-year-old eat a cake pop while walking around? I knew it’d fall on the floor. Then she’d cry and I’d have to buy another. I was not about to let that happen.

The rest of our time at the store was thankfully uneventful. We found what we needed, then paid, walked to the car and loaded up. Before we made it out of the parking lot, she told me that there was a little pee pee in her panties. I mean, really?!

I tell you this (very true!) story to give one example of  why you should try out ClickList, the new online grocery shopping service at Smith’s. I’ve used it several times now and love it. 1. This is amazing! I don’t have any kiddos to tote around but I’m feeling a lot like a beached whale at the end of the day lately and sometimes I just don’t have the energy to make it through the grocery store. I’ll definitely be utilizing this awesome service!
